I've heard this word so a lot this week from clients. Seen it online countless times. Alarming, right? Except, only one of the people I spoke to meant it literally. And they were talking about how they felt a few weeks ago. Fortunately, they heeded my advice and now feel much better. Normally, when we use visualisation, we try to picture the moment when we accomplish our goal. For the athlete that might be their chest breaking the tape. In business it might be the moment you clinch a...
We are not designed to live in a perpetual springtime. Consider that for a moment. We are actually quite attuned to the seasons. And winter isn't naturally a time for growth and productivity. It is a time to conserve energy, to rest and reflect. The modern world has so many wonderful gifts for us. I wouldn't want to be without electric light, warm water and heating. But these things do mask the reality of the seasons changing. They allow us to keep pushing, keep being productive, keep...
