How to Live a Happy Life (It's Not What You Think)


Do you dislike watching yourself on camera? Or hearing the sound of your own voice?

I'm the same, but mostly I get over it when I need to do something for my job. Like editing a video for social media, or a lesson for my program.

I'm writing this on Sunday evening to send to you all on Monday morning and I can't look at myself 🫣 so I am wondering if some of you might do it for me?

Yesterday a podcast interview with me and Tom Dickinson from Tom's Talks went live on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Tom has a hell of a lot of followers on Instagram, TikTok and everywhere else you can think of.

So, my meagre social media accounts are flashing in ways I am not used to. And it is exciting, but also a strange feeling.

The episode is called How to Live a Happy Life (It's Not What You Think), which is a title Tom chose after watching the edit. In it we talk about grief, resilience, confidence and mental health, but we also had some fun.

Tom's a really good interviewer, as well as a lovely man, and the production standards are amazing, so, I am sure it's worth a watch/listen.
